Did you know that chemical fertilizers can add salt to you garden? Chemical fertilizers are excellent when used in containers that are refilled with new soil each year, but not so good in your garden. Chemical fertilizers add salt to your garden which can build up over time, making it difficult to grow a healthy crop. Try adding compost or manure to your garden instead.
